Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts/Culinary Management
Hold a Master’s Degree in a closely related field
Relevant Academic & Industry Experience
Have a strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, HACCP principles, and kitchen health and safety
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Greek
Ability to work effectively with academic and administrative staff and contribute positively to departmental activities
High standards of integrity, reliability, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional conduct.

Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lectures and practical culinary sessions
Participate in culinary events and competitions
Monitor and manage the appropriate use of kitchen equipment, ingredients, tools, and facilities
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen health and safety
Establish and maintain links with the culinary and hospitality industry to enhance students’ learning and employability
Coordinate and monitor student internships in collaboration with hotels, restaurants, and other relevant industry partners
Develop and update course materials and learning resources
Assess students through practical examinations, assignments, projects, presentations, and written assessments
Undertake examination invigilation duties and ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with institutional policies and procedures
