Erasmus International Staff Week

It was a great pleasure to host our very first International Staff Week at City Unity College.

Participants from MUBS - Modern University for Business & Science in Lebanon, Universal Business School in India, and EhB - Erasmushogeschool Brussel in Belgium, had the opportunity to share best practices followed in their respective institutions, had meetings with the various departments of the college and exchanged knowledge on the procedures each department follows.

They also had the chance to meet with the academic personnel of City Unity College and explored the possibility of future collaborations for research between our institutions. The • ΙΔΕΠ Διά Βίου Μάθησης Erasmus+ Cyprus, honoured us with their presence during the week presenting to the participants the current situation of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility scheme and giving them the space to discuss any questions that arose.

The International Staff Week would not be the same without the cultural activities that provided a better understanding of Cyprus. Special thanks should be given to the Deputy Ministry of Tourism - Υφυπουργείο Τουρισμού for offering us a guided tour of Nicosia as well as Κτήμα Γερόλεμο - Gerolemo Winery for hosting us at their premises in Omodos village and giving us valuable information regarding Cypriot wines. Special thanks to our Erasmus Coordinator Anthoula Koupepia for the excellent organization of the event.
