Incoming Staff

CityU is very pleased to welcome international staff that wish to have a teaching or training mobility in Cyprus under the Erasmus Programme. Be assured that we will do everything possible to make your choice of our institution a memorable experience.

Teaching Mobility

Teaching staff in our partner institutions have the opportunity to come to CityU to teach for a period of 2 days to 2 months through the Erasmus+ Programme.

The funding for these activities is managed by your sending institution. Travel and subsistence costs are covered.

In order to submit an application, contact the Erasmus Office to discuss your interests and possible visiting dates. If there is an agreement a Teaching Program will be prepared and signed by the involved parties. You will also receive an invitation letter from the hosting department.

Who is eligible: Only teaching staff with a valid inter-institutional agreement with CityU is eligible for this action. Financial support is provided by the sending institution. Apply at least three months before the mobility’s start.

Training Mobility

Administrative staff in Higher Education Institutions have the opportunity to come to CityU to have a training period of 2 days to 2 months through the Erasmus+ Programme.

The funding for these activities is managed by your sending institution. Travel and subsistence costs are covered.

In order to submit an application, contact the Erasmus Office to discuss your interests and possible visiting dates. If there is an agreement a Training Program will be prepared and signed by the involved parties. You will also receive an invitation letter from the hosting department.

Who is eligible: Administrative staff from any Higher Education Institution with a valid Erasmus+ Charter are eligible for this action. Financial support is provided by the sending institution. Apply at least three months before the mobility’s start.

International Credit Mobility

The deadline for staff coming through the International Credit Mobility programme is the 30th of September.  Only staff from our partner institutions is eligible to apply.  Minimum duration of mobilities for teaching or training is 5 days.

In order to submit an application, please refer to your home institution for the relevant application form. The visa process is a responsibility of the incoming staff.
